It’s not often I have them all in the house at the same time, usually they’re also at my work and practice space. Thought I’d take the opportunity for a family portrait…

Haha, well spotted! Those are the decals you can get off of eBay. They’ve been on there about 10 years and we’re getting a bit gnarly, so I started to remove them and photo was taken before I finished.
Actually, I’ve still not finished it! :D

Excellent work on the epiphone Old Boy! I take it that’s your creation?

Oh thanks a lot man! Yes it is my work, it was my lockdown project. I figured as I had both the Iommi Epiphones I’d turn the Mk.1 into an old boy relic! A LOT of hand sanding, some heat gun, a few accessories like the scratch plate and knobs, and I had another guitar that I’d already retrofitted with chrome Iommi humbuckers, so I swapped them over.
I still have a hard tail bridge with fine tuners, not exactly the Schaller 456, but as close as I could get. That’s going on with the next string change.
I over did the sanding a little on the upper part, I was planning on staining it but the grain is so tight it won’t take a stain. So I’m just playing the **** out of it and hopefully that will add some darkness to that area!
