Amazing job! Very nice guitar!
Excellent pictures, Lou - thanks for sharing.
&, as stated by others, seems like a good price for such a lovely and well crafted SG.
Lou, how do you stay in business with prices like that? Do you build just one guitar at a time or are you able to build a few as a parallel operation?
I usually build them one at a time and by no means is this my ONLY income. I do this as a side business / hobby. I know the guy so I cut him a break. They way i look at it is...........I try and keep my prices " enticing" by not quoting an astronomical number. I also take Brand Name guitar prices into the equation. Example....someone asks me for a price on a 61 SG replica or a 59 LP replica. I know what Gibson charges for the USA line pieces so I try to keep my prices close to Gibson's. This way i pocket the bucks and not Gibson...Ya follow me ?
This could be some dangerous info. Henry J and Lawyers Incorporated could get yet another wild hair up their culo.
Excellent attention to detail....
That came out great. Did you put a bar between the string anchor and tail mount when you removed the tremolo mechanism to keep things stable?
Beautiful work Lou.
Love following your builds, I learn alot.
Thanks for sharing!
A true work of art!
