The previous owner of my SG Classic replace the original tuners with Grovers (and drilled new holes to do it ). They work alright, but they're heavy and the neck dives as a result. Plus I prefer the look of the stock tuners.

Unfortunately, the stock tuners didn't come with the guitar, so I need to get some new ones. Any recommendations for where I could find a set of tuners that look like the originals? Or maybe someone has a set they would like to get rid of? :naughty:

I have the kidney Grovers on my guitars and I fixed that issue by replacing the stock buttons with lightweight pearloid acrylic ones. Bought them on Ebay from someone in Taiwan.

Dave, my Classic was equipped with Kluson style like the ones in Frank's pic, but since I kinda liked those white buttoned ones, I swapped mine out for ones like is in that ebay ad I posted. Then since my '87 had a wonky tuner or 2, I swapped the keystone ones off my Classic onto my '87.

I like the Kluson Deluxe and the Grover 135s. Save those Rotomatics, though, if you need fishing weights.
