    Hi,
Please can someone tell me what year this this SG is a late 60's or 70 71
It has a serial stamp but no made in USA stamp. It also has the volute and the headstock seems to have the later style crown
I can't get the other pictures to upload! But do have some more if I can email someone?
    Thanks Screenshot_2015-12-29-11-55-05_1.jpg

More pics would help....but I'd say into the 70's....unless the bridge as changed. 60's sg's would be much more likely to have Abr-1 bridges. But the body contours are closer to 60's to my eyes....I know they get really flat in the early-mid 70's.

It sounds like the volutes started to show up in '68/69 no?

Whatever the case, from here it looks like a pretty cool triple pickup machine!!!

    Post the pics!

    You can try photobucket.

From what you say, it sounds like '69-70. The shallow horn bevels make me lean toward '70-71 though. Are you sure there's no "Made in USA" that's faint or faded? Is the neck one piece or three?

Horn bevels and side profile of the heel looks like 70->
If I recall it right, this swimming pool routing ended at 71.
Small volute came late 69 and big volute was 70->
So good guess is that this body is a 1970 model..

Need more info to be sure, but 1970 is a good guess.

I don't get it, why do so many people show up looking for info and not even come back to get their answers?
