Well, it's been weeks now and I must say, It's a great amp. But, it had to grow on me - due to the fact that it took me awhile to sit down and go through the manual - but it's so important to read this one! And the slightest knob turn really does effect the entire dynamics. All knobs are hot - not a slacker in the bunch! With the new celestion speaker (ty  ) in house, and my pile of Mesa Boogie tubes handy, I'll mod this baby and see what happens! (in search of sonic nirvana...)
YEAH. I found that out last night! When I was in the store I told the guy I ws getting a SG classic with the P'90's. I said I would like the Leeds sound. so he set the VOX30W to sound similar. (I bought the floor model) and his settings wre darn close because when I plugged my SG in it sounded awesome (small ballpark close anyway) SO....my son decided to play with my amp settings yesterday. When I got home I was LIKE DOH!!!! The WONDERFUL LEEDS-ish sound was gone. and I have NO idea what the settings were. he turned and pressed every button and knob on it!!! So I gotta do some reading with the manual and try to get back to the SWEETness. I'll find it! it's in there I heard it already! LOL. AHHHHH kids. dont ya love em!
515, I did the same thing as your son.... The manual tells you how to do a full reset to factory settings and then if you can remember the patch or the knob settings or call the store and ask the guy what he did.
Yeah I don't know his name. I can stop in a see of I can find him. but I was messin with it and that is exactly it. the slightest turn of a knob the whole sound changes. and if you get too far from where you were. you'll never get back! he he.. fun fun.
maybe speaker can go from "in house" to "in amp!" heheheheheh FWIW, mic cable due to arrive today, adapter tomorrow
Cool CB! We wanna hear some signals amplified, speakers pumping, strings vibrating, blood rushing, and pups a' barking!
