My brother had a VOX Viscount in 1967/68. It was the noisiest beast and he hated it. He mostly played the 65 Epiphone Melody Maker thru his 64' Princeton.
I tried it a few times and it really sucked!

My AAS is getting worse here.......

What sealed the deal on the VOX is the 1 watt switch on the back.
modeling amp and can be run full out on the 12AX7 but output at 1 watt.

    cool!

Already have the PodXT for modeling but the VOX may have some cool amps too

I noticed to connection is CAT5 for the pedals. My Line6 has that. I wonder if I can use my Shortboard on the VOX?

well i can't keep my hands of it guys....i'm gonna be sore as a viagra overdose that got stood up on a date tomorry!!( just put 13's back on the strat...BeeFaaay!!) 8)

i'll play better because i'm definately gonna play more .

spunky, the power level is variable from 30 watts down to .1 watts. you could play this with great distortion in a motel and not get kicked out!! (till the drinks kicked in and you kept edging it up.... )

at 26½ lbs. it's no big deal to throw in the car "just in case".... 8)
