Vox mv50 boutique

    So, they're pretty different one from the other.

    MV50 Boutique has real clean cleans. Gain knob is gradual to about 8 on 10 and then melt the speakers. Overall tone is rich and full.

    MV50 Rock is all OD. Barely any cleans to be had, but gain is gradual and overall tone is more trebly than on the Boutique. You can see that is was designed for power chords and rock solos.

    I tell you ... these give greatly appreciated tonality. I took them out on my 10th floor balcony yesterday to get the feel of live outdoor tones. When I looked down after playing for a while, this is what I saw down in the yard.

    I've had my eye on the MV50 AC for a while and noticed a used one on Andertons website for £99, so I grabbed it. Really impressed with it going into a 1x12 cab I have with a well broken in Celestion Greenback. The Vox looks a bit lost on top of this cab though. :D

    I think it's going to get a lot of use (and considering I have some other really nice amp heads, that's a great compliment to Vox). :dude:
