We all know that the most important thing of a guitar is the sound and build quality, but other than that comes the look, and there are tons of variations of the classic Gibson design. Post here pics of weird looking SG copies, and by weird i mean both good looking and bad looking guitars. I'm making this thread because i really find the variations on the design of the copies really interesting, for example: Sakai SG This one is really cool, and probably the answer to the question "What if Fender made the SG instead of Gibson?" Sorta reminds me of the Telecaster too, must be because of the pickups and the pickguard EKO SG Indy Back in 1975 when EKO made quality italian instruments instead of low end MIC guitars, this one was their SG, really interesting design, expecially for the tremolo. Things change though, now we have... EKO SG (Current model) Remember when i said that weird didn't mean bad? Well, in this case, it does, this is what would happen if wood could melt. Gibson Eye Guitar Okay this does not count as a copy, i'm sorta breaking the rules, but oh well, i just had to drop it in. It's a 2009 limited edition (Only 350 guitars made!) of a "Modern Design", a 490R on the neck and a 498t on the bridge, both in red. The oddball look comes from the pickguard, instead of the batwing we have a Hulk Hogan moustache.
