Well I'm poor and live in an apartment. Right now I'm using a raven cheapo 20 watt amp. I figured I'd invest in a nice guitar that I can enjoy even with a crappy amp and save up for an amp that will do it justice, especially since most amps don't sound their best at the volumes I can get away with living in an apartment. I also have a fender frontman 10 or 15 watt (forget) the raven sounds better under most circumstance.

I'm trying to do research on something more worthy without having to take on a second job to afford it but I'm in no hurry.

My #1 amp these days is my DST Engineering DST-30. After that, I usually use my JTM 45 into a Silver Jubilee 4x12 cab. Every now and then as a special treat (like last Sunday), I use my '64 Band Master. If I'm at home, I use my '71 Deluxe Reverb.

Harrumph, I'll have you know my room is much cleaner than when that pic was taken. I also built a rack to hold that EQ and my rack delay and wireless.

I've got some history books and some science books, but I have little doubt the cookbooks are still there somewhere.

When I do need o run thru an amp................

But more recently I find this will do the trick when I do need to run a few electric numbers..........

Works great thru the new Behringer PA..... but admittedly doesn't have as much tonal adjustability...... but it saves the back!

Fender Tube Amps all the way for me. I have a '63 VibroVerb RI, "Custom" Vibrolux and a Pro Junior. I also use an Epiphone Jr. that I think has a really nice tone. Right now, I'm seriously considering buying a '65 Deluxe Reverb RI even though my car is falling apart and I need to save for that. *sigh* decisions, decisions....
