Fender Vibrosonic Reverbs from 1974 and 1975. One of them has the reverb stage replaced by an extra gain stage, which works really well if I just plug the SG in without any pedals. Normally I have a RAT distortion in use though.

(Edit: sorry, mods. I resized the picture to site specs, but somehow I still get a scroll bar underneath it).

as I get older, I have been more interested in low wattage tube amps. Here are the two I use alot these days.

the eggnator is new so I am still learning it but I am liking it so far. The badcat can make some great tone and at 5 watts thru a single vintage 30, it isn't overly loud.

I met Bruce egnater when I was at a managers conference back when I was working for Guitar Center... He's a cool guy. He said his amps are made in China but since he's not a jerk to the factory workers over there (like most other business owners are I guess) they deticated a seperate room in the factory just for making his amps. Also, they only have the same lot of about 10 people making them.. that seems like it would help with quality big time... Just a useless random thought :)

I felt kinda guilty buying a chinese amp but after about an hour of playing it at the store... I just really liked the features and felt it would be a good fit for me. It is my first egnater but I am liking it so far. Not quite as much raw tone as the little badcat which I love but it makes up for it with lots of flexibility. I'm convinced I can be happy with alot less watts these days. I just wish marshall would make a great sounding 10-20 watt all tube amp that didn't cost a kajillion dollars.

I don't like calling myself a metalhead, but I listen to metal often. Not only that, the Powerball just delivers a sweet tone on any channel!
But since I can find my taste in almost any style of music (as long as it involves a stringed instrument), I don't consider myself as a metalhead! Over the last two months, I've listened more blues & classic rock than anything else!

And I don't have any clips of it no, but I'm sure you'll find the monster raging somewhere if you seek YouTube! :D
