Mine would be a '67 Gibson SG in Walnut (with a Vibrola) going through a Marshall Plexi half stack. ;D

What I'm playing right now is pretty dreamy....

    1965 Polaris White SG Junior
    [IMG]

    50 Watt Marshall Silver Jubilee
50 Watt Marshall JCM800 ( from a 1x12 combo, put in a Mosfet Head case)
    Two Marshall 2x12 Slant cabs.

I been trying to downsize, but Marshall combos just wernt cutting it live, I tried 2x12 and 1x12 combos, but they just didnt have the umph.... So I got these 2x12 slants and put small box heads on em. all I can say is...... Dreamy!!!

No fancy vintage gear for me, I like to keep it simple:

SG Standard (or perhaps an SG Select) into a Mesa Dual Rectifier.

Entirely affordable, just not at this point :D

My '67 Special, a Gibson maestro wah, and 10 or 12 Ampeg Reverb-a-Rocket 2's. Thus remaining true to my family motto, "If it ain't Hummin'....I ain't strummin'".

The sound of my youth, that I've been trying to recapture for 40 years.

My Gibson 61 Reissue or Special (with Duncan JB/Jazz pups), run through either my Marshall DSL 50/1936 set up, or (my dream) a Bogner Uberschall run through a Marshall 1960 slant cab. :Droolin:

    Hey AxRab,

From what I could see from the picture, your '65 SG Jr. still looks pretty white. I have an '84 Standard in Polaris White, and the lacquer has "faded" to a creamy yellow. Is yours really that white, or does the picture not do it justice?

A Les Paul Custom into a Soldano SLO 100. I could then die a happy man. I could live with just the SLO, though. I am pleased with my SG.

Its refinished, but its really not that white either, the flash washed it out, its more creamy in color.
