For me, my Fender Blues Deluxe Re-Issue into a 2x12 Vintage 30 loaded Open-Back cab with my Furman Power-Condioned PedalBoard is my go-to rig....

I use my new Limited Edition "Blondeman" '59 Bassman Re-Issue when I want a different Flavor...

Fender amps just plain "Work" for me.........

67 Plexi says, watch out, Amp building can get addictive. maybe I will learn enough to make my own Bassman, I already know I can do the cab from my lifetime of carpentry.

Alexander Paul, I thought that the Excelsior was an interesting amp, so I bought one, too....I also changed out the stock speaker, put a Good Eminence 15 in...made her MUCH louder with a tighter, rounder bottom end.....I changed out the stock 6v6's too.........amp turned into an amp that, for me at least, sounded good as a guitar amp.......but sounded it's best as a......get this...HARMONICA AMP!

I gave it to my son along with a Danelectro 59.

Now he can keep his neighbors in his downtown Chicago Apartment Building ever-so delightfully entertained.......

chillipeppermania c, You're right. Of course......the '59 Fender Bassman design is, quite literally, the amp that changed it all......

And, I promise you this: Once you get yours.........get YOUR dream Bassman.........you'll walk around with a permanent smile on your face, all the while asking yourself this question: "Why did I wait so long?"

Mine is a limited Run, Blonde Tolex and Oxblood Grillcloth '59 LTD Bassman Reissue........only 75 made.....it's TONE CITY, pure and simple. With my Eric Johnson Strat and '96 '52 Telecaster Re-Issue.....you get THAT "Match-Made-IN-Heaven"tone......

With Gibsons, for the most part, the tone is only (get this)......PHENOMENAL.......especially with both channels "Jumpered"

    LOL @ permanent Smile.

Hell, I get that when I plug my Epi LP into my Princeton Chorus and still get sustain out the wazoo via the sweet T Tops I put in.

Depends on my mood - and which one is working. I love this one...

This one has potential but currently has a few bugs.

There are others but these are nice and loud!
