I received last week a Gibson SG 3 knobs made in 1991.
The guitar sounds very well humbuckers are 1959 Les Paul RI, setup is perfect, ebony fretboard is awesome, the original case is like new. A good deal

But I have a problem with the finish, I think that previous owner used polish for car, the coat looks plastic like my €piphone and bad point is there are stains on the body. I tryed naphtha, Zippo lighter fluid with not result.

That' s why I' m thinking seriously to make refinish the SG with white/ivory color.
How much do you pay in USA for that kind of job? Thanks
