How did I miss this thread??? Some beautiful SGs in here. The most remarkable thing about this 2014 Alpine White Standard is… it's mine :)

Thanks! Yes, it's a GraphTech bridge - almost identical to the T-O-M. They do sell the saddles separately, but I thought a straight swap would be easier. I did it in preparation for fitting a Bigsby.

I painted this myself and am not really finished yet. I couldnt take the worn brown station wagon look anymore.

You fvk'rz are gonna be the cause of me getting another SG! But this tine it will be in my all time favorite color .. White!

Or :hmm: I could get my stepson to trade me his White 87 Standard for one of my other less lusted models I dont play as much. Hmmm...:thumb:

He's made ovations in the past. Reckon it's time.

"I don't know if it's just me but the white SGs with gold hardware sometimes look like Pelham blue with black hardware!"

OK Vin. I'm guessing this isn't to be taken literally but maybe in an existential sort of way one looks at artwork. Or , perhaps the translation from German to English is twisting things up a bit.?. But I personally can't get any of these shades of Pelham Blue SG's to give me the experience you must be getting when looking at them to make that statement. Even when I stare at them like they are one of those pictures with a hidden image that only reveals itself when one achieves a trance like state!

I have now spent too much time on this & it has simply left me to wonder .. What are you guys doing for recreational activities over there in Germany & is it legal to mail some of it to the US??

I did however find an awesome variation on the color scheme when I stumbled onto this rather stunning Pelham'ish' Blue SG with Gold hardware, white plastic with black knobs & rings.

Very unique & beautiful. (to my non hidden picture seeing eyes)
