Your "Wintermute" is a fine looking stage guitar. Looks like she takes to the lights well!

OK Zone47, My Classic is small plate covered like your right one. I took a chance to see what mine looks like under the hood. Unlike yours, mine has a Circuit board setup instead of hand wired type. :hmm:

    Uhhh ohhh! Chipboard huh?

Well, that is a 06 Classic. I had a 07 Classic that was hardwired too. I'm not sure when they went to the chip board to tell the truth. :dunno: What year is yours?

This thread smells like some other guitar forum, a rather obnoxious one *cough, MLP, cough*
Aren't we all guitarists, no matter what we play? If you limit yourself to just one type of guitar, you're going to miss out on a lot of cool tones. Get your head out of your ass guys!

BTW, concerning Townshend: he rarely uses his Gretsch live, because it goes out of tune too easily. He once smashed it (I believe because their performance was cut short, probably a TV show), but had a tech repair it. This aside, I like both his live and studio tone, I think it has way more to do with his style of playing than with his equipment. He manages to get a nice crunch out of both his Gretsch and Fender amps and also his Gibsons and Hiwatt amps.

    Jealous? :naughty:
I have to admit I'm very lucky to get a hold on one of these awesome axes, especially in Belgium, and right at the moment Epiphone released the even more limited Tremotone version. Amy (that's her name :thumb:) isn't the easygoing guitar like an SG or a LP, but if you put in some real effort, you get it back with double the power!
