It looks like it's true mate.... This sucks.

I hope that he gets better, I don't want an amazing person like this to leave this world.
You think you can vist him Alex? Would be pretty tough to try right?

That's a terrible affliction. Must be fairly advanced for him to need to be in a home.

Sadly with dementia you don't get any better.......only 61 years old....makes you realize that life is indeed short.

Sad, sad news. I spent my whole teenage years worshipping these guys' music, I think of them as some kind of uncles.

Too bad... If they come over to my country within their 2015 tour, I'll most certainly honor them by being there.

I would love to, Adam, but Sydney is on the other side of the country.:(
Also, security at the facility he is now living in is very tight, as one of our former Prime Ministers is also a resident there.

My father in law recently had a stoke and one of the after effects is dementia. Totally changed his personality from being one of the kindest, gentelist people that I have ever known to being cynical, paranoid and just an all around different person. It's almost as if he lost his soul during the stroke and another soul moved in.

Like someone on here said, the sound of that Gretch cranked through Marshal Stacks is permently etched into my brain.so true. Get a good pair of ear phones, plug them into a good ipad ,ur phone or what ever and put on Sin City and sit back and enjoy. When you really sit back and listlen to that song you realize just how loud and blistering it is. I love it and am goin to miss that guy.
