I am nothing short of impressed & happy after getting this during MF's last $300 off sale.

Yes, Alpine White is whiter than day old snow!

I originally ordered this guitar at the end of October '16 as a Christmas present to me from Santa when I seen MF put an Alpine White with Gold hardware on sale for $300 less than normal! Not only was this a great price for a double-neck Epiphone, it was the much rarer Alpine White version which I always thought looked simply stunning, elegant & lustingly beautiful!

After taking the guitar outside in the fading mountain induced late afternoon sunset (the sun actually swings & hides behind the surrounding mountains before setting, giving us an hour or so of false evening twilight) I couldn't help but hear an old RUSH song running through my head from their 1975 Fly By Night album, namingly, 'By-Tor and the Snow Dog'! Now I'm thinking 'Snow Dog' just may stick on this Alpine White 1275.

Epi 1275 'Snow Dog'
After resetting string height & intonation, and properly re-stringing the strings that would not hold tune as they all came simply pushed through the string eyelets & wound, I was not only happy with the classic rich & organic tone of the pups, I was comfortable enough to take it out on a gig!
This guitar was nothing short of an attention getter from the moment it was taken out to the moment I put it away! Even the guys in the band were fawning over this Epiphone Double-neck. In fact, the fact that it was merely an Epiphone & not a $3,000+ Gibson ($7,000+ if you go for the white Don Felder Gibby version!) never even crossed anyone's mind. Thats how impressive the looks were on our first night out together.
Things only got better as I played song after song on this guitar eventually going through an hour & 15 minutes of Classic Rock, Hits from the 70's-80's & up & the occasional Latin groove foray. She did it all with a quality tone & a very cool style all her own!
The evening can best be summarized by the words of the keyboardist who at the end of the gig as I was putting her away yelled across the room, 'It's a keeper!'
