    Yeah Angus Young really babies his sg's. =) Who knows? Strings not broken in? Truss rod too loose? Nut binding? I would say with a proper nut/setup and strings properly stretched/broken in any sg should hold its tuning as well as any other. With that being said- some have stiffer necks...
