Hullo chaps(esses)
I was in GAK today - looking at their line of guitars and they have for sale a 1961 Gibson SG Junior in TV yellow for £10,000. I noticed that there is NO logo - ie no Les Paul decal - in fact, except for the inlaid Gibson, nothing at all - I pointed this out to one of the staff there who said this is quite normal for SG Gibsons of era and that the TV yellow ones never had a logo on. Personally it sounded like rubbish to me - why on earth would Gibson do this? All their other guitars had Les Paul decals on (there was decals on the other vintage SGs they had there)
Is this true or is this just a yarn?
