There is a reserve for all items so if you bid $10 on a $15,000 Rolex, you can be pretty sure that your bid will be passed and the watch will not be sold to you. If you wanna place lowball bids that are ridiculously low, it would not hurt the rankings for this auction, but if you place a reasonable price for your bid and do not plan on actually paying for it if you win, that might keep a real buyer from being able to win when they are actually planning on paying for.

Rolex---expensively reminding you of your eminent demise.......

I hate clocks

That's strange...I love clocks and watches...I look at them as little engineering wonders...and fine jewelry...I have about 10 wrist watches and two pocket watches...one came from my Great Grandpa...

Very nice! That is really a work of art and an engineering marvel!

I wear watches to work, but there is so little need for them other than as an accessory due to technology.

Yes, these were taken by me using the new strobe lighting that I talked my boss into buying just for this project. All pics were taken in the new office/studio I set up at the beginning of the year. This is one of the many functions that I get underpaid for. When people ask what I do for a living, I tell them "I shoot rocks."

That's true, knives are one of my very first loves and I have well over 50. My great grandpa gave me a
Case XX when I was 7 and I've carried a knife ever since.

As a matter of fact I was grinding out knives from scratch for a couple years, but it got expensive
and it's dangerous if you're not real careful...

Here is one I made...and I'm talking grinding from bar stock here...

Cutlery can be very groovy. I got an prop Nazi knife from a buddy that was in SAG. The puke stills owes me money! I'll trade that for a Rolex.
