I'm not sure why he's waiting for someone to produce a backpacking harness for him when with a tiny bit of creativity and an Army/Navy store or even a thrift store you could rig something up fairly cheap and easy.

Love the knobs on that one. lol

With the Stu Hamm Urge bass with the active eq, ( 9v battery in the back ), the tone and volume knobs are two knobs stacked on top of one another. These "stacked" knobs are the two sets closest to the neck. They control vol, and tone for the Jazz pups , or the vol, tone for the Precision pups. These knobs have a top section and a bottom section that can be adjusted independently.

The bottom knob, (toward the bottom of the bass), is like a switch with 4 spots one can role the knob to.(only 3 appear to work and possibly the fourth position is for turning the eq off) This knob has distinct "spots" that the knob clicks in place to, and this one affects the eq.

The 3 way switch controls the pup selection. 1 Jazz 2 Jazz/Precision mix 3 Precision.

As a guitarist, the 24 frets on the Urge , and the wide tonal selection, made it my fave of the two, even though I got the Urge for quite a bit less than the 50th anniversary model. The color of the Urge would not have been one I would have picked, but for the price, and as nice as it plays and sounds, I can live with the color. Jeff
