Dateline and info on production numbers?

I was wondering if there exist a dateline of when certain features appeared in SG models somewhere. If there isn't then why not start one here?

Like this way: "In 1961 SG was introduced. It had ... and ... Colours available were ... Also some were made with ... and .... In 1973 mode X was discontinued...". You probably got the idea.

It would be nice to know also ho many SG's (and what models, colurs etc) were made in different years. Or is that classified inforrmation from Gibson?

I'm not sure I ever saw a compiled list of that nature, but one of the difficult things would be the anomalies that happen.............. I thought the Blue Book had a general listing of the general offerings of Gibson by year.....................? :-\
