So this auto correct seems like a new thing that the forum
is doing. It really irritates me, and I'd like to turn it off.

Is there a way to do this?

Or is it my computer doing it?

Niope, difinitely nat a forom ting.

See? :D It's usually phones that are the culprit though, not computers. What computer do you use and do you use a separate program to type your messages in? For example, I always use Notepad ++ for longer posts as it's larger than the message reply box and easy to save.

My computer doesn't auto correct, but this silly phone sure does. Sometimes it makes for some very interesting words.

Does it keep correcting "prolly"? :dunno: :laugh2:

*laughs... I've become self-conscious about that fine little abbreviation, and
have not been using it since being subjected to some fairly gentle gibes.

an raht naow, that thang ain't doin' it to me na moar...

I'm using an iMac, a fairly old one but it's running the newest OS.
So it's possible that my 'puta is the culprit. She makes snotty comments
before reading the text of an alert or reminder.

She'll say:

"Och mon, ye dinna ken wha' yerrrr aboot... Are you sure you want to
shut down Safari, you have two tabs still open."
