Yes, they are indeed great sounding guitars, so great in fact they make me want a Custom Shop SG Special with P90's and the wrap-around tailpiece. :)

I saw one too this past Sunday. Typical of Guitars at GC it was missing the plastic pick-up selector switch cover and looked to have been played 200 times by 5 year olds. I can't imagine purchasing anything from these stores unless it's new and factory sealed or offered for serious discount. However, it did sound sweet when plugged into a Fender Blues Deluxe RI. I also saw they had several LP Faded Double-cut with P-90's. I didn't like the feel of it; it seemed "cheap" so I didn't even plug it it. May be next time.
