I don't know I saw the sarcasm immediately .. you had a good point .. should a forum dedicated to the sg really be pg-13 ... not our call so we have to live with it.. there is always the chat room btw for unmoderated ranting and raving

I just thought I would jump in and explain it again. The board needs to be PG-13 because we need to continue to draw visitors from everywhere. Young, old, rich, poor, those with huge collections and those that dream of buying their first SG. If the board was R or worse then all we would have is a bunch of old guys sitting around talking about the old days. By keeping the forum clean enough that parents will let their kids drop by, we have the chance to mold the guitarists of tomorrow they way they should be. We can perpetuate the greatness we all know is the SG and bring more and more into the fold.

We don't want the kids to grow up to be snobs like on other forums that I won't mention. Everyone here has the right to their opinion and as long as they can take some good natured fun (sometimes at their expense). We all have formed a union of kindred spirits that will endure and continue to grow.

I have tried to offer something for everyone. The Chat room was the way to let everyone take their gloves off and go at it bare knuckled. The warning is there that it isn't moderated and I believe that by blowing off steam and freely expressing ideas, it makes it easier to conform to the limited amount of censoring that I have implemented here.

Batwing, I don't think there is anyone here who didn't see that you were being humorous. No need to apologize. If anyone gets out of line there are enough long timers on here that will either set them straight of send them packing. It's happened before and will again. Now if we can just get everyone to calm down enough so that we don't drive away our newest female member. That is the really tough part!!!!!

Sorry Skids,

The LP is fixed and lied about it to the SG. He's been working the issue as often as possible and the SG doesn't have a clue he's shooting blanks.....LOL

Can't have cross species pollination!
Might create something really scary!
