The TSL and DSL models are great. The DSL401 combo is meant to be great too.

5 watts of all tube-ness is extremely loud. and with the single volume knob you can push the amp hard and it will probably come close to the ac/dc tone. either that or maybe one of the other epiphone valve amps. like the valve special or standard. the valve junior is the coolest of all of them to me just for its simplicity. the other ones have DSP and an eq and everything.

yeah theres a bypass switch as i remember. i played around with one of them a while ago at guitar center. the valve special has a 10 inch speaker, junior has an 8, and the standard has a 12.... oh and epiphone recently released an amp called the blues custom with looks really cool. if i needed a new amp i'd definatly look into it. it has 2 12 inch speakers at either 15 or 30 watts.. i believe it runs on el-84's.. looks cool. you should check that out if you havn't already.

I wasn't necessarily saying that you should buy from eBay. I was just giving an idea of what to look for around where you live. You would need a pedal with like a Valve Jr or Champ to get the heavier tones.
