Hi Everyone!

I have been lurking here for a while but this is my first post. I've been a Les Paul guy for many years now but have been wanting an SG. It's been an agonizing decision on which model but with some help from reading the forum and alot of shopping I finally came home this afternoon with a Custom Shop LP SG Standard VOS. I've only had it for a couple of hours but I'm loving it! I can't wait to gig with it this weekend. Does anyone have one of these and have any observations?

I got it at GC, I'm working on getting a pic of it. I might need some help posting the pic, I've never posted a pic.

Well, I've had 6 days now to take this guitar though it's paces and I really like it. But tonight is the real test as far as I'm concerned, my first gig with it.
The setup was pretty good on it I just had to do a little tweaking to it. The back of the neck was tacky but I took care of that too.
I was a little confused as to what pickups are in it, I found some documentation online saying classic 57 and others saying Burtsbuckers. I pulled them and they are Burstbuckers. This is the first experience I've had with Burtsbuckers, so far so good. At home with my practice rig it sounds great.
I'm no good at taking pictures of guitars, I tried taking a couple and the came out pretty bad, I plan on having some taken tonight at the gig.
I'll give you guys a better review after tonight.

And thanks everyone for the welcome!

Welcome to the forum. Glad that you like your new purchase. We would also like to have a look at the new rig. Post some pics when you get a chance.

BTW: How did you get rid of that tacky-feeling neck issue?

Shepp...
