Yeah my 69 Rr had a Dana 60 that I pulled out from under a 69 440 6 superbee. It had 4:10 ratio. My 68 Rr had a 8 3/4 with 3:91 ratio.

Those Danas were tough as hell, but it was no fun running down the freeway at 4,000 RPM.

Did you have the 4-speed? I had the A-833 and the pistol grip shifter in my Super Bee.

"Ever notice at the end of the movie, when it shows the wrecked car that its actually a white camaro?"

Yes, that was always a let down. And everyone hanging around rubbernecking.

"And whats the one with the charger and Fonda?"

I didn't know that. Was someone else doing a cameo in the E-Type Jag he races against?

NCGD (new CHEAP Guitar Day)!!!!!!

Well as promised pages ago..here is the "rig rundown" on the Maybe-nez Ibanez look alike Irin "JEM" model purchased on FLeabay for a whopping 79.00---NEW--(see link in first post)
Its here......and it actually doesn't SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! :wow::applause:

Fit and finish are very nice for a 79.00 hack. HONESTLY not as nice as say, an Epiphone or a Squire mid grade, but AS GOOD as the Epi "Special" level and BETTER than the Gibson Maestro Series---way better than Maestro-- Neck is straight!!!, ZERO string buzz (unlike name brand guitars I have purchased ---the Epi Wilshire most recently that took 2 days of messing with to get rid of a number of issues including fret buzz---....frets are nice has actual binding on the neck not just paint.....inlays are nice and well down. All the electrics work ......I gotta say it sounds decent....the strings are HORRID CHEESE GRATERS but the pickups sound full and nice....the humbuckers are dirty the center single coil is functional and I am enjoying the varied tones and sounds I am squeezing out.......oh and the tremelo works smoothly, and....it stays in tune after ya whammy on it.....:thumb:
All in all its decent for the money for sure......gotta get with an Ibanez guru to compare seriel numbers on pups and electrics to see if this truly is a back door Ibanez. I like the neck as well, satin finish, smooth, fast.......this is an excellent beginner guitar for sure.
The other "kit" guitar bag/strap/chord included......suck....gig bag has NO padding at all......so what is the point......
All in all, if ya are down on cash and want a little shredder that works well, costs less than some stomp boxes and just flat works, or if ya need a beginner guitar for a kid who MAY or MAYNOT take to playing....this is not bad at all. Not at all.
:)

And some "pics"

I am really surprised how decent it is. TBTH I was planning on NOT liking it. figured it would be as bad or worse than the Maestro line, and figured it would be flipped quick.... but its actually much better. Tuned her up and totally playable right out the box. I will do some adjusting to the saddles and some personal adjustments, but really. It is rather pleasantly surprising. Might be a good Office banger to keep there for when "inspiration strikes" and I wouldn't have to "stress" over leaving it night/weekends.

At that price, the joke is on the thief! Nothing like having a good quality beater you wouldn't cry over if something happened to it.

Keepin for the moment, but hey for the right price its all for sale. .....You interested.....make ya a deal.......lol

It actually is a nice guitar, neck is super fast/comfortable and with the pup configuration and 5 way switch you can get twang to metal and even some nice strat tones.....now it is new....how long the cheap switch and knobs will work.,....don't know, but so far its a good little plunker.

Funny, that's what I always said when I'd pick up a new one and some lad would cruise into the shop and see it. Maybe that's why I've been through so many over the years. Get 'em. Play 'em. Sell 'em. :dunno:

Well, not sure, maybe I get bored easy? No because the Lester has been with me awhile.......and I don't know that I could let go the SG either.......well I take that back if someone where to offer double or triple what I paid. Then yes. but as I don't see any logical or rational person doing so......the White Witch is safe.....for now. Buwahahahhaaaahaaaaaa--a--cough,,,er haaaaa

Yeppers, I only kept one for well over 40 years, a '64 SG spl I bought new, but when the last wife was spending money like it was nothing and a house and car payments were looming, that fine old SG was sold. That's the only time I ever got emotional over a guitar too.:( But the rest, hey if I get an offer I can't refuse, I won't, and it's sold to the highest bidder. :hyper:

(but secretly I'm real partial to my LP and SG....and maybe the Dot too, but don't tell anybody as it would make me look too human;) )

The guitar is way nicer than I thought :laugh2:
I feel like putting a killswitch, some stickers and drawings on that guitar, kinda like Tom Morello's "Arm The Homeless". If I had such cheap guitar, I would mess a lot with it...
