Maybe you didn't study this in detail, I believe the "Calling All Cars" video with the Brian Wilson cameo was just recently released, maybe I'm wrong. Yep, I was impressed as well.
I think it is awesome as well.
I thought that maybe I heard a little Elvis influence in a little part of the rehearsals.
Probably my imagination but.
Can't quite put my finger on the song but I think I hear hear "temperature's risin' daw daw daw daw daw."
If so, I hope they do a song as a tribute to him but " New Cars" style.
Certainly can't hurt.
I just listened to it and it was great, never seen any of these videos before, but the songs were done in a different setting.
I really enjoyed the Calling all Cars video with the personal interviews with the band members. And I gotta say that the new song "Not Tonight" seems to be a great example for things to come, very much like the old Cars. And Elliot's guitar spots really shine in these videos, makes me glad I still have a their music around after all these years. EE's leads and fill work are as strong and tasty as ever! And that aint no fluff just cause he's around.
