However, I will take a Hiwatt off your hands if you were getting rid of one

Me too!
I am saving up to get an amp to go along with the awesome that is the SG Classic. It's already getting easier to play.
Not a one! I don't do Boogies.....

Me either.....But I love the Hiwatts !

Yeah, Hiwatts were my first choice for many years. Just in the last 15 years or so did I start digging the Marshall tone. When I got my old Supertrem, I went full tilt into Marshalls too. Actually depending on the style of tunes i'm writing/playing at the time, will determine which amps I play through. Right now, with Thunderpunch, it's Marshall Majors. :coolsmiley:
Well, sort of...."The Pig" is the name given to the '67 200 because of it's looks,(small control panel). The next year, '68-'74, it was know as the "Major". Very loud and fairly clean amp.
Also heavy as heck.

I am saving up to get a Vox Valvetronix AD30VT to go along with the awesome that is the SG Classic.
For the $$ involved it is quite economical as well. I really like being able to turn down the power level on the back panel & get excellent tone without disturbing the ceiling tiles.
