Finally bit the bullet and got a Les Paul, I've always preferred SGs....having borrowed and played a few on my old man's Les Pauls and never really bonding with them. Always preferred the feel of an SG! Finally took the plunge and went with a Les Paul that seemed to have everything I liked, thin 60's neck, 57 classic and classic plus in the bridge and the ABR1 bridge. Love the feel and tone of this thing, the sustain blew me away, the notes ring out so much longer than they do on my SG. Gonna add a cream poker chip and tall historic pickup rings and the nice shiny black control cavity covers instead of the weird textured ones Gibson has been using. But here she is...
