Finally! Should be here Thursday. Only thing I'm going to do is replace the knobs with the metal insert knobs. I'm not going to put a poker chip on it right now, I don't think I mind it not being there but we'll see.

It's in! Set up almost perfectly. Very happy with Sweetwater. I can't say that I'm immediately in love with a classic 57 in the bridge position. I'm going to give it a little bit and play with the EQ on my amp.

Yeah I will. The 57's with the tone at 10 sound like my SGJ with the tone at 5. I love it in the neck position very warm and full.

Nice pair of SG's. I like your Cherryburst but I have seen a couple pics where the burst was way on top and didn't look so hot. Yours looks perfect for an SG!

It does. If I had been the one spraying the burst though, I would not have done the lower flat surface, like below the knobs and the tail. Keep it to the bevels.
But I'm nitpicking here, it is an incredibly nice SG. Very classy looking.
