Hello, just purchased a 1982 EPI Special KZ from rummage sale. Looking for a value, thanks.

Serial number is 82142028, all original, comes with original Gibson hard case, tried posting pics not sure how to lol

I say it's worth about $100 and I'll give you twice as much for it.
Is it too much ? As a new member, you wouldn't want to rip off a fellow forumite, wouldn't you ?

And don't take those guys seriously, most of them will try to steal your guitars.

The 1982 Kalamazoo Specials and Spirits are worth anywhere around $650-$850 depending on the condition.
Here is a single pickup SG Special that sold for $650+$30 shipping. It probably would have been worth more, but someone added a pickguard to it.
