I should have figured that something like that wouldn't be that popular here. I've just gotten more into metal. I find its more of a challenge to play, and helps me develop chops better.

Different strokes for different folks....nothing wrong with that at all! I used to like RacerX, back around 1984-86. Even Mr. Big. ...I liked and learned the riff to "Green tinted sixties mind".
Had to slow it down on my 4-track to get it but I did. Liked that tune alot. Very melodic.
Learn whatever floats your boat...none of it will hurt ya! ;) Good luck!

A little off topic, but what kind of marshall is that on the top of you avatar?

Its a solid state Lead 12 head from a very limited production run Marshall offered, modeled after the old JMP style. Guts are the same as any other Lead 12.

Saw Paul and Bruce play that on the G3 tour. Amazing!

I was really disappointed that I didn't get to see that. I had wanted to go, but I never got around to getting tickets. It must have been incredible, if the crappy youtube videos are anything to judge by.
