Hello folks,
I'm putting together an SG-style project guitar with 2 Gibson Iommi humbuckers (already have them) and am considering options on how to wire it up. It is going to have the traditional 2-volume, 2-tone look. My concern, after reading many online posts, is that the neck position may end up being too dark. That being the case, what do you all think would be the ideal way to compensate for this potential issue:
1. Neck pickup with Volume and Tone
2. Neck pickup wired in Parallel with Volume and Tone
3. Neck pickup with Volume and Spin-A-Split in place of Tone
4. Neck pickup with Seymour Duncan Triple Shot ring and Volume and Tone
I think all options have their Pros and Cons, but what would be most useful? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I would go traditional myself, and use either a 500K, or 525K(if it's suuuper dark..) audio taper pot..:thumb:

Depends on which sounds you want to get out of it. If you're building a guitar specifically for heavy stuff, I would say go with the traditional setup.
