Its a hell of a deal, until I add up all the parts I need to build another guitar!

I already have the neck and pickups.... so I'm saving money!

Dave was telling us at lunch yesterday you'd have it that day. Looks like he was right!

Tell me that drilled bar ain't slick.

I had a drilled bar on a Tremtrue bigsby (POS by the way). And its definitely an improvement, but I'm used to the pinned bar,

But if I had to remove the pins, to dissasemble one of my others I wouldn't put them back in, I'd drill it.

I had planned to try the 360 handle modification, but hadn't gotten around to it on any of mine and so far I'm liking it.

I have a B3 with a Towner bar on my other SG and on a 339.
I'm torn on whether the B7 and Vibramate or the B3 and Towner is better.

They both look slicker than a B5 and work great. I think the B3 and Towner might shave a couple ounces.

Maybe I'll start a thread on the bigsby and Sg' s.

Excellent job on the modifications!

I had one of the Towner button end hole filler things that fills up the oval slot on the endpiece so I added that.

Thank you for the nice comment, and that Towner piece is an excellent addition. Really gives it a finished look.
I need to get a couple of those.

The towner piece comes with some rivets to plug the holes, a few felt pieces to protect the body and a longer button screw, It's a touch on the overpriced side, but it's cheaper than I can make it for... do there's that... and it does finish it up real nice.

A B7, or B5 will fit with a vibramate kit.

Or a B3 with a Towner kit.

The SGJ is a little thinner than a standard Gibson SG. If you want a B7 like the one in my picture, the flipped hinge trick will work still, but may hang a little too far off the back edge of the guitar for your liking.
I solved that problem by using a flipped Bigsby B700 hinge on my SGJ.

It solved the overhang issue. Good luck with your Bigsby conversion. They're great trems.

I just installed it and i love it! I just flipped the hinge and used the vibramate V7 to avoid drilling holes. I love it. Thanks for the advice guys!
