Well, here's a new member of the Harris family - a 1962 ice blue Tele Custom... just arrived - totally mint and with all the case candy including bumper stickers and so on....
Initial impressions are of good playability... and nice looks!

nice tele! I usually don't care for light blue but looks good on that one.

I know I know!! I want/need an SG - but got to find a keeper...and having bought 2 guitars in the last 2 months I think I'll just hang back for a while.
And yeah - that metallic ice-blue is actually very nice - not my first choice in colours but it does work and the fretboard is wonderfully finished - tight (rosewood) grain with a superb finish to it - I'd like to get the ebony on my Black Beauty buffed to a similar finish.
I've been enjoying the rainbow of sounds I can get form them all - then when you change amps you get another universe of tones! I won a little Valve Peavey on Fleabay for £72 - should be getting that soon too - I "need" a small valve practice amp.... I have terrible GAS I tell you.
