I think I actually remember that specific guitar, as it was one of the prototypes. You can clearly see that the ABR bridge is installed correctly, which is actually wrong for Angus. He always has his ABR bridge set up backwards with the saddle screws facing down, likely so his tech can make quicker adjustments without fighting the pickup ring. All of his guitars are set up that way.

All this said, nothing wrong with a Center body and the two wings. Super strong and also uniform. The same way they build the headstock to get the wing shape.
Yeah, that prototype is supposedly a neck-through build. Not sure why, Angus' original is not built that way. They never showed any pic of the neck joint though, so who knows if it even is.

It bears similarities to my '67, but the horns are pointier, the neck heal pocket extends about the same amount, and the stap button is located in about the same location, but the neck heal is like a Les Paul and the heal on a '67 is one long smooth transition that enters the pocket without that bump-out at the base of the neck. The control cavity is routed differently and the cavity has a brass 'bathtub' shield that is grounded to the control wiring. Those pots were not used in the mid to late '60's so you can eliminate those years from your search.

It reminds me of Norlin-era 3-piece LP topsView attachment 52886

Slash's number 1 touring guitar for many years was a 1987 Standard with a 3 piece top.

I thought it was funny that his first one was a replica and then Gibson made a replica of a replica for the Slash LP.

His first TWO were replicas, actually! The first was bought around 1985 and was built by Max Baranet. He pawned that at some point for drug money and it wasn't until the recording of AFD in 1987 that he got the famous Kris Derrig replica. That picture appears to be the Derrig replica.

This is the Baranet, notice the wider flame, more of a quilt top:
