I use standard tuning on my Classic and have used .011s on it since it was new with no need of a setup beyond setting the intonation. Even with .012s if you are detuning that much I doubt it will require much more than that.

i have 10's on my strat and they are a little loose, but they hold tuning down to almost b. if you're having problems 11s should work fine.

Ok, I have a STUPID question, I see alot of how to's on intonation on the web, what I don't understand is what should I tune the guitar to, to intonate it ? Standard 440 tuning or the tuning I normally play in ? ( d# dropping the low E string to C# ) Thanks for all of the help guys !

Well, I just talked to a friend and he said I would tune to the way I normally tune, which makes sence, cuz If I tune standard and inotate, then tune down I'd be out of inotation. That's what I thought, just wasn't sure...

Yeah that is correct, tune to what you normally play.
