$800 for a guitar with authentic 9-ply (mahogany/walnut) neck-through construction, upgraded Kluson banjo tuners and a custom Alnico II pickup sounds quite reasonable to me.

Gibson makes this guitar in the custom shop. $3800 last time I looked. Kauer will make you one for $4200.

Chinese guitar is not an indictment anymore.

Dont even try Paul he will just drag you down to his level.......and beat you with experience. I find it odd a Frenchman is so loyal to an American brand.......and has SUCH hatred of China..........sad.........
