This Saturday night my 60's Tribute will be making its first appearance on stage. I'm confident she'll do well and make me proud. Hopefully I'll have some shots from the gig to post, but until then here she is in a band pic from our rehearsal last week.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes and seeing some great pics.

I debuted my Special Faded a couple of months ago and was hoping to post some pics but none of the photos had good shots of the guit. Make sure you make it clear to the photog that they MUST get some good unobstructed shots. :fingersx:

Dude, you need tubes..........here in Alberta the gov recommends drowning skunks by tossing them in a body of water, the theory is sound and may help in your situation

Had my first pint of Guinness in The Rocks back in '83 while visiting courtesy of the US Navy. Couldn't figure out what the black stuff they were serving was so ordered one. :dunno: Later visited Freemantle and Perth and developed a fondness for the Swan Dark Lager which I guess is gone these days. If I were there I'd be in the audience! I was around in the 60s. :wow:

Hey Zagnut it's coincidental that you mentioned The Rocks area of Sydney because my band's name is Rocks. It has nothing to do with the location, it's just a name we came up with.

We formed back in 1977 when the first wave of punk hit Australia and we've been playing on and off ever since then. It's funny but we can play to kids who weren't even born when we started and yet they still go crazy for us.

And Nitrox if you're referring to my Randall amp then don't worry, I have a Mesa Triple Rectifier I'll be using on the night.

Swan Stout maybe?
That was a nice drop though it was pretty hard to find by the time I reached legal drinking age. Unfortunately long gone thanks to globalisation.

Rockerbilly from your description of your band I wish I was on the other side of the country for Saturday night. I love that style of music. My teen years were spent playing all sorts of 'punk' music (very badly).
Enjoy tomorrow night :dude:

Oh and Zagnut....come back any time. We love visitors here....well mostly because if we didn't have visitors come through we wouldn't have anyone to pour our beer, but that's another story :)
Great part of the world to be at this time of the year though. "The beer does flow and the men do ....."

But seriously, our Aussie dollar has taken a MASSIVE dive overnight so anyone holding US dollars will pretty much be able to live like a king here again soon.

I never thought of that. Try checking out our band's Facebook page: Rocks 1977 Australian punk rock and see how you go. There's a few links there that should work.

Good to see, erm, people of a certain age still rocking.

In the UK it's difficult to form a band with 40+ year old musicians,
the thinkiing being we crumblies should retire to the potting shed and collect stamps.

What material do you play ?

Billy, you guys are fantastic! Just awesome.

Sadly, most of your videos don't seem to work for me. Maybe because I'm in the US? All I could watch was "She'll be right". Loved it.
