Is that 2013 '70s Tribute $670 including shipping???

If so I would go for that.

Have you ever thought about a quick trip to Japan to buy something there? They seem to have a LOT of guitar shops there, or at least they did when I was there in 2006/2007. Bring it in with you on the plane it would have to be cheaper, plus you get to go for a holiday.

Looking at auctions there though I didn't see a single lefty SG

No, but it's in England, and I can get it sent to my brother, so lots more options.

I have had no luck/feedback from that P90 standard, so I'm starting to think that may not be happening. I have seen another guitar which you will all love, but I'm not saying anything until the shop gets back to me and I have it paid for (it was available online for me to put in my basket and pay, but being an international customer have to get a quote) - I know for one, you'll like it, Dave! It's actually my favourite out of everything I've seen; again, I didn't know they were available, so I reckon that Gibson must have let out some stock very recently.

Funnily enough, I was looking online at Japan today thinking the same, so I'm looking, but the Japanese websites can be a pain to deal with.

That sounds great (for a junior); I see a build thread coming on!

It's a shiny 2011, new, as I said, I think Gibson have just released some lefthookers because I've seen half a dozen or so Gibsons this week that I haven't seen available since 2011/2012.

She's available (gig bag): http://www.wildwoodguitars.com/products/129910558.php?CategoryID=419#

Damn, Boo, that guitar is HOT! Juniors are smoking. I play my Les Paul Jr. all the time these days, but I kinda wish it was an SG...:D

^ basically, Dave has worked out the problem already... Gibson won't let these guitars be sold/shipped international;lly, and thusfar I can't find a carrier ununder $450, so that along with 20% tax, (which is taxed on the shipping cost too!!!) doubles the price of the guitar.

The last guitar I bought, from Germany, cost 50euro to ship...

Thios is becoming messy!

Sorry for this Greek drama/tragedy.

Have a look at this site. I accessed it via Amazon UK. It says free shipping to Korea. VAT came off.

I would double-check all of that via email, of course. That's a 2012 '70s Tribute with mini-humbuckers, left-handed, silverburst finish

The have the same guitar in sunburst, ebony, & cherry. Sunburst and ebony have the white pickguard.
