An interesting little slice of Gibson history.
Yeah, he definitely a collector and not a player. I always skip the playing demos, because it's like, yeah, sounds like a guitar.Anything from this guy i have seen so far just left this feeling that he likes to brag about the guitar he bought and he is talking too much
To the guitar, its a nice interesting SG, but the pickups were pretty awful sounding to me
He has a lot of followers on the youtube surprisingly as he is a lousy player
He's a bit goofy at times, but he is very knowledgable, a self-taught Gibson historian if you will, especially about Les Pauls built in the last 30-odd years. Definitely an acquired taste, but once you get past the "he is who he is" conundrum, he's an entertaining distraction for 15 minutes of your time. As mentioned in my reply to Iaza616, his is more of a collector's channel rather than a player's channel and that won't appeal to everyone. There is a bit of vanity and false humility to him at times, I mean the guy must have at least several hundred-thousand dollars sloshing around that allows him to do what he does, but maybe he's gotten to the point where his YouTube channel is paying for itself? Which, in and of itself, would be rather impressive.I don't get it about this guy, and I never click on his videos.

ya, I just turn it off... or never click on it, which turns it on.It was my understanding he buys and sells, and funds his private collection purchases out of the proceeds. Presumably he also makes a few bucks from his youtube channel. Fair play to him I say.
It's a useful resource if you're a Les Paul nut, or at least a Gibson nut, but much beyond that, but he does what he does, and if you don't like it, don't watch it.
He butters em up because he’s a flipper. That’s his thing. 9 out 10 guitars he shows are getting resold.Anything from this guy i have seen so far just left this feeling that he likes to brag about the guitar he bought and he is talking too much

+$65 shipping$55,000 on Reverb, what an utter tool.
It does make you wonder how much he bought it for and what his intended profit margin might be. If he paid, like $30,000, then yeah, dick. But if he paid $50,000? Meh, man's gotta eat and the piece is pretty unique.+$65 shipping![]()

He’s a bit of a dork but I like seeing some of the guitars he shows and takes apart to show us the guts.
An interesting little slice of Gibson history.
