What else do you guys collect?

I'm not so much of a "collector" collector of comic books, but I do have a couple thousand to my name...sadly none of them are worth anything; I mostly started out around the "Death Of Superman" back in...when was that, '92? '93? See, I like to READ my comics. I've basically surrendered my checkbook to DC Comics right now...God, I'm hooked on all the INFINITE CRISIS tie-ins! And anything Peter David is writing for IDW is superb.

Hahaha I also collect pens , I know its not as cool as collecting cars or guns but I still like collecting them anyways... im guessing I easily have over 30,000 (I have a huge space in my cellar dedicated to many many boxes full, as well as boxes all over my room and piles in random places in my house).

I also collect a bunch of other random things such as knives, CDs, Nintendo and Super Nintendo Games, and as soon as I get a couple more guitars in the future I guess I can say I have a guitar collection (I have 6 guitars so far).

I collect watches, lots and lots of watches. I have 30 or so high end ones. then a couple hundered "meh" boring ones. That i use for work etc

haha ya the majority were free pens that I got from companies/buisnesses/doctors offices etc...lets just say i went a little overboard with my collection =P....I have pretty much stopped adding new pens...I havent added any in over a year

what movies are your faves? I've been thinking about starting to pick up the zilla movies i see... there are a couple box set collections that might be good starting points

Nah, the name is just because I'm guitarweasel's spawn...I'm not all that clever.

Not a huge Spawn fan; actually I don't really care too much for Todd MacFarlane's stuff. I think he was a product of the excessive hype comics went through in the early 90's and now that the industry is focusing more on storytelling rather than new enhanced holofoil variant covers, he's finding that his "career" wasn't all it was cracked up to be. All flash, little product. Give me a good Peter David book any day.

My all time fav Godzilla movie is still Destroy All Monsters, with the original Godzilla movie a close second. The recent "Final Wars" movie was a pretty cool one I think. In it we got to see a lot of the old fav monsters. And there is also the Atragon in Final Wars, or a similar variant, which is surely one of my all time favorite sci-fi ships.
I still have a few Godzilla originals in VHS format that I want to get rid of since I've transfered them to DVD about a year ago. I was about to put them on the Bay a few months ago, but I've stopped selling on the eBay network because they keep bringing the fees up and up and up and up and up.........

Congratulations. And yes, any collection can suddenly seem too prominent. In a decade or two I may need to borrow a few years from you, so I'll keep your post in mind.

Anyone have 1969 in their collection? I have that one, an amazing one it was.
Let me check..... oh yeah, 1965 and 67 too. 1971 wasn't bad.
I have a few others that are pretty nice too.
I don't really keep the recent ones though, I like the vintage stuff. ;D ;D ;D
