Actually it has much more gloss than the camera picked up. The only bad thing about it is now fingerprints show up and I have to wipe it down after playing.

Yup..like they said, a small price to pay.

well that's interesting... I sure do like Burla's custom p'up rings and pickguard AND TRC...
that really gives a great unique look to your Epiphone. the whole pkg looks like a well loved guitar. Earlier photos of Flitzed guitars show a dramatic increase in the shiny motif. Especially on a faded. I may end up liking my faded just the way it is, for the reasons that ORF brings up. I really think the faded finish is kind of brilliant... looking at really old SGs makes me think that the faded look is one that Gibson got right.

So I haven't bought any of this stuff yet... no one has admitted that it has (doom) Silicone in it, or reported that it does not. I'm still massaging my SG with Lemon Oil.

Vaguely reminds me of the 70's "The Les Paul" model with all the wooden parts.

I just checked the tube and it does not list the ingredients, calories, carbs, saturated fat or any other neat stuff to know. :ohno:

So you do realize that your wood pick guards are what inspired me to make mine for Burla. I blame it all on you Col Mustard :thumb:
