Oh my god... What a question.
:o

I used to collect:
Formula 1- modelcars (all gone through ebay)
1:8 toy-soldiers (Dragon, 21st-century, nearly all gone through ebay)
Wrist-watches (lost interest, not selling them, but am not buying additional ones)
Spawn-Figures, Batman-Figures, Silver-Surfer-Figures (all gone through ebay)

I still collect:
Ties (I'm a suit-guy)
Star-Wars-Figures (Imperial only)
guitar-magazines
Warhammer-Dwarves and Dark-Elves...
Comic-Books

I think I have a serious problem...
:o

Anyone here besides me think that Metalmom is near 'bouts a dream woman.  She likes guitars, guns and can hold her own on here with your guys.  Two thumbs up for Connie.  O0

;D Thanks...but I do have my faults. I'm a neat freak. I drive the hubby crazy bitching about whiskers in the sink or socks on the floor. Oh and I hate to cook. :) ;D

Well, how about a sister Connie?!?!?!  ;D

Nope..I was an only child. I guess thats why I like guns, guitars, and the outdoors so much. I grew up in Louisiana and spent my time either in a duck blind on the lake or following the rodeo circuit with my Dad and uncle thus spending plenty of time in cowboy and good ole boy bars with lots of guitars. ;) I was a tomboy I guess. :)

My first husband was a rodeo clown. Now hubby number 2 is an avid hunter and guncollector and he loves guitars too, so I guess old habits are hard to break! LOL

:)Pipes.Tobacco Jars etc.

No..........not THAT sort of Pipes: Pipes,Tobacco for the Smoking of. (Which I am extremely aware is totally Politically Incorrect these days)
I started out collecting Briars made by "Petersons" in Dublin, but the Collection has now moved further afield and my latest came from Cyprus.

Still........What else would you honestly expect from a British "B.O.F? ;)

Hey you remind me of something I do collect : "the simpsons" episodes, "futurama" episodes and "family guy" episodes. Not expensive at all & I can share precious moments with my friends with those.

Nice variety of collectables all. I usually hoard my collections and sell off the entire lot when I get tired of taking out the display cases and staring at the stuff and then putting it back. I sold off all my knives for a tidy sum and bought my SG Std, some performance items for my car and a few other things that I could "enjoy". When my wife found out how much I was getting, she asked "how much are you giving me?"

We settled on 10%..........Yeesh, that's what I get for marrying an Accounting Major.....a half Jewish half Sicilian one. She can squeeze a quarter hard enough to make Washington holler.

Mostly collect dust.... me that is.

When I look at some old things I've got, I wonder how they ever made them without CAD/CAM and CNC and all the stuff we have today.... yet today, they say, oh we cant make things like that, too expensive!

To that I say BOLLOCKS! They just dont want to make anything that lasts anymore!
